My client is a leader in geospacial and environmental information systems and technology for mission and business critical applications. Their customer base comprises of companies and institutions from the government, defense and national infrastructure sectors. My clients provides products and consultancy that assist clients in their management of environmental and tactical information. With an increasing portfolio this company are seeking additional mid-level and senior engineers to join their divisional development teams. Due to the nature of the domain, these roles would suit software engineers who have a particular aptitude for algorithmic/mathematical based products. The purpose of this role is to provide full software life cycle from requirements capture through to post deployment support. You will be very proficient in C++ development with a recognised business environment. Experience of other Object Oriented languages such as C# or Java would be advantageous. They are also looking for extensive skills in MFC. Expertise in design methodologies such as UML would be advantageous. You will be based in their head office in Horsham and the salary is 35k-50k depending on experience.
