Broadband Designer

immediate call for experienced broadband Designers to join the design and construction division.
Responsibilities:
·Responsible for producing broadband designs for PDH, SDH, ATM, Megalinks, Frame Relay, ISDN and IP products.
·Responsible for producing detailed designs that include exchange equipment interconnections, cable hauling plans, jointing/testing schedules, dual node/diverse access details and safety notes.
·Responsible for loading and cross-referencing data bases such as - MITS (Equipment), Multiman (Fibre Optic), NPAMS (Copper Plant), CPR (GIS system) TRAC (Transmission Recording and Control)
·Network Design of broadband services for major Telco’s and their clients either optical fibre or copper pairs technologies.
·General and specific IT support
·Customer Network Site visits/assessments
Selection criteria:
·Access, Training and experience in Telco DBORS - (e.g.: Multiman, TRAC, MACS),
·Deployment of an IP network for training purposes
·General Maintenance and setup of printers and print servers on the IP network
·Tertiary certified or advance diploma preferred
·1-3 years wideband experience preferred
